AEG GRID

A modular smart-power and energy monitoring system: a low-voltage hardware device plus a live web dashboard that measures voltage, current, power consumption, temperature and abnormal electrical activity — measure, transmit, visualize, understand, improve.

Drone First Responder

A high-speed, software-defined first-responder multirotor with high-voltage propulsion, custom avionics enclosures and dispatch-integrated flight scripts for municipal public-safety deployment.

AEG GRID — Modular Smart-Power & Energy Monitoring

AEG GRID is Anderson Innovations' first major hardware-and-software engineering project: a modular platform for monitoring energy use and system conditions in labs, workspaces and buildings. A safe, low-voltage prototype measures electrical and environmental data, transmits it over the local network, and turns raw measurements into a live operational dashboard.

Sensing Layer

Safe, isolated sensors measure voltage and current on a low-voltage test system, alongside temperature, device status, uptime and battery level — every reading timestamped with a clear unit.

Controller & Connectivity

A low-voltage microcontroller development board samples the sensors and streams measurements over Wi-Fi to a small backend service that stores the time-series data.

GRID Dashboard

A web interface renders live load, daily and weekly energy usage, system temperature, connected devices and threshold alerts — abnormal electrical activity surfaces the moment it occurs.

Physical Product

A prototype enclosure leads into a full CAD-designed housing, with a long-term path to professionally designed electronics, a custom PCB and documented validation.

Development Roadmap

Phase-gated from research and safety through proof of concept, connected prototype, dashboard, CAD enclosure, validation and a small controlled pilot deployment.

Product Line

GRID 1 covers basic energy monitoring; GRID 2 adds multi-device monitoring and analytics; GRID 3 scales to building-wide modular sensor nodes; GRID Pro targets commercial and industrial monitoring with reporting, alerts and integrations.

Safety Boundary

The first prototype is strictly low-voltage, battery-powered or properly isolated test electronics. No household mains work; any higher-voltage development belongs with qualified professionals and proper equipment.
