About Us
Leadership & Vision
Anderson Enterprise was founded on a straightforward conviction: the systems a country depends on should be engineered from first principles by the people accountable for them, not assembled from vendor parts and hope.
Founder's Vision
The enterprise exists to build resilient architectures — systems that continue to function when the link drops, the navigation solution degrades, the operator is unavailable and the environment stops cooperating. That standard drives every division, from flight software to embedded hardware to the philanthropic programs that develop the engineers who will maintain it.
We are deliberately structured to fund our own hardware. Applied mathematics and software engineering generate non-dilutive revenue; that revenue capitalizes long-horizon physical programs. The result is an organization that can hold an engineering position for years rather than quarters.
Our long-term mission is to become an enduring American deep-tech institution headquartered in Newark, New Jersey — one that trains its own talent, owns its core technology, and is measured by whether its systems work when they matter most.
Operating Principles
How the enterprise is run
Own the Core
Mathematics, firmware and autonomy stacks are built in-house. Anything foundational to mission assurance is not outsourced.
Build for the Bad Day
Nominal conditions are the easy case. Every architecture is specified against denied, degraded and unattended operation.
Fund Patiently
Non-dilutive software revenue underwrites hardware development, keeping engineering decisions free of short-cycle capital pressure.
Develop Talent Locally
Apprenticeships, competitions and education programs build the next generation of engineers from the ground up, in our own region.
Structure
Leadership by division
Each division carries its own engineering leadership and program accountability, directed from the group headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
